Umaabot na sa 191, 427 ang nakaboto sa overseas voting o 13.19 percent ng 1.3 million registered overseas voters.

Sa loob ng 18 araw na botohan mas mataas ang bilang na ito kumpara noong 2010 at 2013 elections.

Umaasa ang COMELEC na tataas o madodoble pa ang mgaboboto sa nalalabing 12 araw na overseas voting period.

Samantala, taliwas sa mga lumilitaw na reklamo online, dalawalamang ang nairecord na insidente ngmaling kandidato ang lumabas sa resibo.

Ayon sa COMELEC mas marami ang insidente ng mga nagseselfie o kumukuha ng litrato sa kanilang balota na ngayon ay iniimbestigahan na ng COMELEC.

“We will have it investigated by our law department to determine wether there is probable cause, to determine if we have jurisdiction although ofhandi could say to you that our embassies and consulates are extension of philippine territory so any offense committed there is committed within the Philippines.” pahayag ni COMELEC Commissioner Arthur Lim.
