Pilipinas, hindi apektado Brexit dahil sa financial stability nito – economist

Hindi apektado ang ekonomiya ng Pilipinas ng pagkalas ng United Kingdom sa European Union o mas kilala sa tawag na Brexit.

Isang dahilan nito ay ang pagtaas ng credit rating ng bansa at pagkakaroon ng financial stability.

Ayon sa National Economic and Development Authority o NEDA na limitado lamang ang nanggagaling na investments, remittances, at turista ng UK sa Pilipinas.

Hindi rin isang major trading partner ng Pilipinas ang United Kingdom.

“We are to a large extent insulated, and to me I’ve been the watching the financial sector for 20 years now. The central bank has done a huge contribution by setting aside an adequate currency to the tune of about 84 billion dollars.” Pahayag ni Chief Economist (BPI) Emilio Neri Jr.
