Inaresto ngayong hapon si dating Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Alan Purisima sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal-3.
Ang arrest warrent ay inihain ng PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group kay Purisima matapos itong dumating mula sa Butuan City.
Inatasan kahapon ng Sandiganbayan na arestuhin si Purisima kasama ang sampung iba pa dahil sa nakitang probable cause kaugnay sa umano’y paglabag nila Purisima sa Republic Act No. 3019, o ang Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, bunsod ng kontrata sa delivery ng lisensya ng mga baril na binigay sa Werfast Documentation Agency Inc.
Inaasahan na dadalhin ngayon si Purisima sa Sandiganbayan.
