Indonesian police brought five suspects detained in a raid on what authorities described as a “gay spa” to collect evidence from the scene on Monday.

Fifty-one men, including several foreigners, were detained at a spa in Jakarta on Friday in a raid that sparked questions over the country’s reputation for tolerance.

Most of the detainees have since been released but five remain in remand. One person is still on the run, police said.

The suspects could face up to six years in prison under pornography and prostitution laws.
