METRO MANILA – Kinuwestiyon ni House Deputy Minority leader at Bayan Muna Rep. Carlos Isagani Zarate ang pag-ere ng 2 oras na meeting ng PDP-Laban sa PTV at RTVM.
Ito aniya ay “unabashed display of impunity in using government time and resources for a clearly partisan political activity” upang mapalawig pa ang panunungkulan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa gobyerno.
“Has the government station become the private property of PDP-Laban or is it in line with Pres. Duterte’s penchant for claiming taxpayer’s paid services and personnel as his own?” dagdag pa ni Zarate.
Samantala, dinepensahan ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque ang naturang isyu sa isang press briefing nitong Huwebes (Hulyo 7).
“Ang alam ko po, whenever it’s newsworthy, it’s covered kasi kung hindi po, masu-scoop naman sila. PTV is still a news agency,” ani Roque.
