Wala ng nakikitang dahilan ang Malacanang para dumalo ang Pangulong Aquino sa pagbubukas ng imbistigasyon ng Mamasapano.

Ayon kay Presidential Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr., sa simula pa lang ay naging bukas at hayag na aniya ang pamahalaan hinggil sa mga kaganapan sa madugong engkuwentro sa Mamasapano.

Nakapagsagawa na rin aniya at nakumpleto na ang imbistigasyon hinggil dito gaya ng PNP Board of Inquiry, Kamara de Representantes, Senado, Commission on Human Rights, DOJ at NBI, at Office of the Ombudsman.

Ani Coloma, kung ibig ng mga mambabatas na ipatawag ang sinumang miembro ng gabinete ay mayroon aniya itong panuntunan gaya ng isinasaad sa Section 22, Article VI on the Legislative Department ng 1987 Constitution na kailangang magsumite ng written questions ang senado sa ehekutibo tatlong araw bago ang pagdinig sa January 25.

“Nakasaad dito, Section 22: “The heads of departments may upon their own initiative, with the consent of the President, or upon the request of either House, or as the rules of each House shall provide, appear before and be heard by such House on any matter pertaining to their departments. Written questions shall be submitted to the President of the Senate or the Speaker of the House of Representatives at least three days before their scheduled appearance. Interpellations shall not be limited to written questions, but may cover matters related thereto. When the security of the state or the public interest so requires and the President so states in writing, the appearance shall be conducted in executive session.” Pahayag ni Coloma.

Nakahanda naman aniyang tugunan ito ng ehekutibo bago magbukas ang naturang Senate Hearing.

Malaya rin aniyang makapaghahain ng kaso ang sinuman na may sapat na batayan.

Umaasa ang Malacañang na huwag masayang ang panahon ng mga mambabatas at opisyal ng gobyerno sa pamumulitika sa isasagawang muling imbistigasyon sa Mamasapano.
