A British tourist, who allegedly attempted to organise to meet with a 13-year-old Sydney girl, was arrested and charged with online child exploitation offences last week.
New South Wales Police Undercover Officers began communicating online with a man visiting Australian from the United Kingdom.
The man believed he was engaging in conversations with the girl and made arrangements for a meeting in Sydney after driving down the coast from cairns.
Police arrested the 34-year-old man in Western Sydney and is set to appear in court next week.
