Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori says he has been moved from his prison cell to a health clinic in Lima to undergo testing for a brain condition and to treat problems moving his right shoulder.
About a year ago, the 78-year old leader was treated for two brain ischemias, or restrictions in blood supply to tissues.
Late on Sunday, Fujimori experienced dizziness and found a very large bruise on his right shoulder that extends to his elbow.
Fujimori has been serving a 25-year sentence since 2009 for graft and human rights abuses during his 1990-2000 authoritarian rule.
