Six children were killed on Thursday after a fire tore through a three-story house in Baltimore, Maryland.
The fire had engulfed the house by the time firefighters arrived on the scene and its third floor collapsed onto the second floor shortly afterwards.
The six children confirmed killed included a baby, a toddler, 3-year-old twin girls, and a nine-month old.
Authorities identified the mother as Katie Malone, a special assistant who had worked in the congressman’s office for nearly 11-years.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
