Twelve people including 10 teenagers were killed in Western Siberia after a bus carrying local acrobats collided with a truck.

The teenagers were returning home after taking part in a competition when their vehicle head-crashed with one truck, got out of control and crashed with another truck and a passenger car.

The bus was carrying 27 children and three adults, including the driver.

Witnesses say visibility on the road was very low due to heavy snowing.

Local authorities have declared a day of mourning on Monday.
